Cardinal Gymnastics Information and Policies
Payments may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card. There is a $35 charge for returned checks. There will be a $25 processing fee for cancellation of class or camp enrollment prior to the start of the class or camp session. Once the session has begun, there are no refunds, but credit can be given for another session less the $25 processing fee. Should you sign up for a class after the session has begun we will charge on a per class basis as follows:
$30 for 1 hour classes;
$35 for 1˝ hour classes;
$40 for 2 hour classes.
There is a $10 transfer fee to change from one class to another.
MAKE UP POLICY/MISSED CLASSES:
No credits or refunds are given for any reason for classes not attended. If your child misses a class we offer practice gym times as make up. One make up per session is allowed and must be scheduled prior to the end of the session. Tuition pays for your child’s slot in a class.
We do not follow
Cardinal Gymnastics employees and gymnasts participating
in class are allowed in the gym.
Due to insurance regulations, parents, siblings and friends
are required to remain in the lobby area. Children are
permitted to play in the lobby
area at any time and must be supervised by adults.

Only one parent per child is allowed in the gym. Any other adults and all siblings must remain in the lobby. Parents should remove their shoes; children remove their shoes and socks.
Parents of preschool students should remain in the lobby in case their child needs to use the restroom facilities or becomes upset or is disruptive in the class. Coaches are unable to deal with the individual crises of 8-12 students.
Parents will be notified of any
inappropriate or disruptive behavior and staff will
attempt to work with the parents to resolve the issue.
We do reserve the right to dismiss a child from
any class for continued misbehavior.
Classes begin promptly at the time stated. Late arrivals are disruptive to classes in session and younger students have trouble adjusting to being in class. Please arrive a few minutes early!! At the end of class, students must be picked up on time or you will be charged a fee of $5 for every 15 minutes late.
All students must be escorted to and from the building.
We are only closed for 7 major holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day and July 4th. We do not follow the school schedule of holidays and teacher workdays.
Open gym is a supervised (not instructed) one hour practice time: Tuesday 5-6; Wednesday 4 - 5; Thursday 4-5; Saturday 1-2; and Sunday 12-1. (The gym is closed on Sundays during July and August). The cost is $15 for Cardinal students and their siblings; $20 for all others. Parents are responsible for supervising their own children.
CLASS ATTIRE AND GROOMING:
Clothe your child appropriately for safety. Bare legs are preferred and bare feet are required. Female gymnasts should wear either a leotard or loose fitting shorts and a T-shirt. Tights, if worn at all, should be footless. Male gymnasts should wear gym shorts and a T-shirt. No jean shorts, jeans or oversized clothing is allowed. Long hair must be tied back with a plain elastic band. No fancy hair ties. Personal hygiene is also important.
Gymnasts should not bring any jewelry or valuable items into the gym. Cardinal Gymnastics will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or misplaced items.
Leotards purchased here may be exchanged for another style, size, or color so long as the hang tag has not been removed. Cardinal Gymnastics does not offer any refunds for tuition, leotards, or any other purchases from the gym.
